EVENTS

WILDERNES ADVENTURES – SOGNEFJORDEN – JOSTEDALSBREEN GLACIER

KAYAKING – SOGNEFJORDEN The small village of Fjærland close to Jostedalsbreen glacier has a long tradition of hiking in the mountains and on glaciers. Boating has also been a very important activity, both for transport and for pure fun. We try to continue this tradition in the spirit of the old glacier-guides and boating people of Fjærland. A big but fun task! The Fjærlandsfjord is nothing if not unique. The views from the kayak while paddling north in the fjord are spectacular. You will see snow covered mountains and the Supphellebreen glacier, a branch of the Jostedalsbreen glacier, a memory for life! If you come with us on the Flatbreen glacier the next day you will be able to see the spot where you caught that fish while kayaking. Unique, do you not agree!?  We invite you to join us for paddling the Fjærlandsfjord, a fantastic branch of Sognefjorden. Be prepared for a big adventure in small boats – get closer to the elements – learn more about the history of the fjord, its people and animals. If you want… a taste of local eco – friendly food.
